American Vogue unveiled a behind the scenes video from Lady Gaga's September issue cover shoot August 10, with the songstress performing the song 'Hair' as she plays with her huge backcombed tresses in the clip.
The pop star took to Twitter August 9 to unveil her eagerly awaited Mert and Marcus-shot front cover for the US fashion bible.
A behind the scenes clip followed -- with the songstress seen dancing around in a fishtail Marc Jacobs gown while posing for the camera.
So far reaction to Gaga's Vogue cover has been positive, with some fans remarking on Gaga's similarity to American drag queen RuPaul in the moody full-length image.
Publications often look to put the biggest stars on the covers of their September issue; other already revealed covers for September 2012 including Karlie Kloss on the covers of both Vogue Japan and British Vogue, Keira Knightley for the September issue of Harper's Bazaar UK, Katy Perry for US Elle and Cindy Crawford for Tatler UK.
